SMM July 31 News: According to market sources, Nandan County South China Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. held a tender for the sale of approximately 66 mt of cadmium ingots yesterday. The transaction was successfully concluded, and according to market sources, the final transaction price was around 28,000 yuan/mt. Many market participants said that the current cadmium market is in a relatively off-season, with relatively mediocre end-use demand. As a result, the recent transaction performance in the market has been slightly chaotic, showing a certain divergence. The industry chain temporarily holds differing views on the future market trend and lacks overall short-term confidence. However, due to the current low price range of cadmium, the downside room is relatively small.
